Sighting location: Glasbury Fford Fawr. Sighting date: 18/11/19
WeBS count today the quietest I've done:45 Canada, 9 Cormorant, 4 Grey Heron, 1 Greylag, 2 Lapwing, 60 Mallard, 1 Moorhen, 2 Mute Swan, 8 Teal and 2 Wigeon. Also 50 Redwing 20 Fieldfare, I Buzzard and 3 Red Kite.
A lot of debris everywhere from the floods, many field boundary fences down and a lot a land lost on the common downstream of Glasbury bridge. Gate to the former wheat field swept away. River looks set if these levels of flooding increasingly occur to change its course considerably in the not too distant future.

Sighting location: Llangorse Lake. Sighting date: 17/11/19
Unfortunate timing of WeBS count today coinciding with a drone-flyer and a speedy motor-boat putting everything up. None of the recent specialities, but did get 500 Tufted Duck, 14 GCGrebe, 3 GW Egrets, 2 L Egrets, just 75 Wigeon, 8 Shoveler, 7 Pochard. Kingfisher and 2 singing Cettis Warblers close to the hide.

At least 3 GW Egret at the lake today. The Ferruginous Duck was tucked into the corner of the lake to the west of the hide but close to the reeds (I'm starting to think it doesn't actually have a left leg), feamle Scaup and nasal saddle Tufted Duck still present. 24 Buzzard were worming in the field near the Old Ford.
