The Quail was also singing every day up to the 25/07/19, (Harvesting day), from below my house in the 'winter barley'. It must have been ranging between the two locations every day. Also displaced from the winter barley during the harvesting were double figures of young Pheasants which were non flyers and they were panicking and running around everywhere including my garden. I'm glad 'Quentin the Quail' is OK we've become quite attached to him!
