Spotted Flycatcher, spent at least 2 hours very actively feeding in heavy rain in my garden.

1 Ringed Plover with a very badly damaged leg, 25 Teal, 26 Tufted and 125+15 Mute Swan. A Stoat was running along the roadside near Manest Court.

Brief visit to pontoons found 220 Pied Wagtail and only one w/p White Wag, and a further 60 flew straight in to the roost. All tucked up by 19.25 pm. Not much else - 120 LBBGull flew through, 12 Cormorant, 190+ Mallard.

2 Black Tern at the lake and met a couple who had an Osprey at Talybont Res. yesterday that they had not been able to refind this morning.

I had a hunch it could be an Osprey day......! So a walk up the Wye Valley Walk dipped on Osprey, and was generally quiet. Best were 2 Sparrowhawks sparring, several Buzzard & Red Kite, single Marsh Tit, several Chiffs/Willows, 2 Kingfisher, 4 Goosander, and on the Brynwern flats 2 Whinchat and a male Redstart in a hedge.

Osprey Flying west about 100' over the river Usk . seen from the turning off the A40 to Aberyscir . this was at 3pm . I couldn't follow it as time was pressing.

Kestrel - one flying SW along the flank of Gamrhiw was the first I've seen here since the spring. Also 2 juv Whinchats, Redstart, 3 Stonechat and 10 Linnet.All around the roadhead above Penrhos.

Linnets Several (maybe 8) flocks - each 10 to 15 birds. -maybe a mixed flock SO 095382

2 Greenshank feeding between the two islands downstream from Glasbury bridge.
