Female Shelduck still there at dusk, also 4 Snipe, 29 Cormorants and 2 Redwing. Several hundred Gulls in the roost ( probably 1500+ ).

Afternoon around lake produced 2 Black Tern (Llangasty side with group of 12 BH Gull's, 1 remaining for 45 mins), female Shelduck and 2 Pochard. Regulars included 103 + 4/3/3 Mute Swan, 13 Cormorant, 11 Great Crested Grebe, 95 Tufted and 3 Grey Heron.

1 female hen harrier from the pull in for garnlydan reservoir but just over the border. came into roost in the forestry at around 6:25.

Wildfowl arrival includes 1 Shelduck, 19 Wigeon, 20 Teal, 2 Shoveler, 1 Pochard. No sign of Stint but it could be out of view from carpark.

Little Stint juv [1], feeding along lake side shore of Llangasty point until 18:40.

Juv. Artic Tern. In sight for 5 mins, closest it came was 10m. It spent a lot of time hovering just above the water

3 out of 5 birds caught by Llangorse Ringing Group at the Jetty this morning were Cettis Warblers. There was a much better catch elsewhere, but not with such notable birds!!!

In rowans had 1 Redwing, 15+ SThrush, 50+ MThrush and several Starling and Bullfinch thrown in. Suggests moving birds with a helpful chill northerly breeze to assist passage.

1 dunlin feeding on the outlet of the reservoir, Also 4 redwing flew over the forestry and 1 crossbill.

2 Kingfisher chasing each other up stream, 2 Dippers fighting and 4 Grey Wags who wern't that happy either!
