BTO TTV around Pwll-y-Wrach was fairly quiet as the reserve was quite busy today. Best of the bunch were territories of 6 Chiffchaff, 2 each of Nuthatch and Coal Tit, and singles of Marsh Tit, Treecreeper, Blackcap, Mistle Thrush and Raven.

Just to comment on the lack of Hirundines around the Usk res... just to odd swallow and sand martin over the last few days and no house martins. There have been at least a pair if not several by this time over the last 10 years... and Swallows well established....................however, Redstarts are busy nestbuilding!
