Best were 3 f Wheatear together, pr Stonechat, pr CGoose, pr Mallard, male Siskin in song, 5 Swallow took a sip from the Reservoir and continued north, and a single Chiffchaff on territory (bet that species was not here 10 years ago).

One Dunlin, one White Wagtail and 3 Pied, pair of Teal, 4 prs Mallard, 12 Coot, 4 Moorhens, 3 Swallows, 100+ B-h'd Gulls, pr Curlew and song in nearby field, Nuthatch in Chapel trees.

Sand martins are back at island fields

Pair of Red Shanks and a Chifchaf. 10 Golden Eye, 2 Pairs Gadwall, 2 Pairs Teal, 2 GBB Gulls, 2 pairs Great Crested Grebes, 10 Lapwings. 3 Green Finches 5 Chafinches, 3 Song Thursh 2 Mistle Trush. Family of Mute Swans. Lost count of Canada Geese / Crows / Jackdaws / Blackbirds / Gt. Tits / Coots. 3 Wood Pigeons. Strangely only 1 Mallard. 1 Grey Heron no sign of the Little Ringed Plover that was here yesterday.

1 Female Redstart on telephone wires opp. mountain rd turning to abercraf sn861275. Later down by the aquaduct, nr groesffordd so076273, a suprising number of swallows, circa. 20 or so along with plenty of sand martins. A very noisey Nuthatch calling for around 10 mins.

8 Sand Martin, 1 Goosander and a pair of Mistle Thrush. On canal 107 Mallard and 2 Mute Swan (inc. 7CTJ).

3 Coot, 3 Tufted Duck, 2 Pied Wagtail and at least 380 Black-headed Gulls including one very odd looking one with a small but striking white ring around the base of the bill - rest of head dark as normal.
