5 Ring Ouzels ( 2 males, 2 females and a juvenile) feeding on Hawthorn at southern base of Caban Coch Dam,(Just inside Breconshire).

Ring Ouzel (3). Feeding on Hawthorn at southern base of Caban Coch Dam, Elan Valley (Just inside Breconshire).Also flew on to dam itself to drink from puddles - good close up views from the road side of the dam. A few Fieldfare with them. They have been there since at least 22/10.

HIghlights, female Kestrel hunting and a Willow Tit. Also flock of c.200 Starling and c.75 Fieldfare with a couple of Mistle Thrush mixed in.

8 Shoveler (4 drakes), 2 Wigeon (1 drake) 50+ Teal, 2 Lesser Black-backed Gulls and 5 Lapwings.

2 female Teal on pool nr Battle Hill Forestry. 5 Raven, Red Kite and 3 Stonechat near by. On Dulas 2 Dipper and a female Grey Wagtail.

Huge flock of Wood Pigeon, probably 300+ birds, took off from woodland at north of Mynydd Aberyscir when a Goshawk drove them up low over trees. Large part of flock headed south toward Brecon but the area has been full of Pigeons all day.

At least 2 Brambling with Chaffinch flock foraging below Beech.

c300 Fielfare, c 50 Redwing in area on daily basis, also 2 Green woodpeckers. Not many starlings as yet.
