Early doors ( 06.00 ), near Brecon sewage works, on the Usk,3 Kingfishers, 2 Goldcrest ,treecreeper 3 Grey Wagtails, two female goosanders and a party of 30 L T Tits. Later:11.15 Juvenile Arctic Tern @ Llangasty, also an Osprey fishing on the lake, caught fish and flew off in the direction of Brecon. Bearing in mind the report some days ago of an unidentified, possible Osprey,in the trees on the canal at Brynich,i drove to the canal and immediately saw the Osprey being mobbed by 20/30 swallows causing the bird to fly off north. Could this bird be what the previous reporter saw ? Also from the road bridge at Brynich a Hobby being mobbed by the same swallows.
