One House Martin, 5 Swallows, c40 Sand Martins, a Willow Warbler and a singing Blackcap.

2 Yellow Wagtails ( Flavissima ), 6 Sandwich Terns and 1 Summer Plumaged Black Tern at Llangasty. @ 17.00 hrs. 3 Barneys still there, along with usual Redshanks, Plovers and Lapwings. 1 male Blackcap singing and showing in willows below Brynich lock cottage.

3 Yellow Wagtail, 4 White Wagtail, 2 Redshank, 2 LR Plover, 2 GBB Gull, 3 Barnacle Geese and 5 drake Shoveler.

Willow Warbler singing in garden a few feet from where a pair nested last year. Male Reed Bunting on rushes in field next to garden.

I watched a singing robin at 22.10 tonight behind Brecon Theatre singing in the rain, in street light, under the cover of a rooftop.

Heard Chiffchaff and Blackcap in song. 250 SMartin hawking over the lake with a few Swallow. Also 8 female Goldeneye, 1pr and 2m Shoveler, 1pr Wigeon, 2 GBBGull, 500 BHGull, 3 Barnacle Geese, 2 Redshank.

1 Ringed Plover, 2 Little Ringed Plover, 2 Redshank, 1 Curlew, 17 Lapwing, 1 Greylag (see ringing page)and 3 Barnacle Geese. Also pairs of Shoveler and Wigeon, 5 Goldeneye, 6 Teal, 13 GC Grebe and 11 Cormorant.
